80 went up to 100
Original · 80
New · 100
How to use it
- 1Enter the original (starting) value.
- 2Enter the new value you're comparing it to.
- 3Read the percentage increase or decrease, shown alongside a comparison bar, and copy it with one click.
Example
Going from 80 to 100 is a 25% increase: (100 − 80) ÷ 80 × 100 = 25.
How it works
The change is measured against the original value: (new − original) ÷ original × 100. A positive result is an increase; a negative result is a decrease — the comparison bar and result both switch between green and red to match. If the original value is zero, the calculator explains why no result can be shown instead of dividing by zero.
