Age Calculator
Find exact age in years, months, and days from a birth date.
How to use it
- 1Enter your birth date.
- 2Optionally change the "as of" date — it defaults to today.
- 3Read your exact age, total days/weeks/months/hours, and the countdown to your next birthday.
- 4Scroll down for extras: your zodiac sign, generation, birth weekday, and how many leap days you've lived through.
Example
Someone born on January 1, 2000 is, as of January 1, 2026, 26 years, 0 months, 0 days old — 9,497 total days, a Capricorn, part of Generation Z, and has lived through 7 leap days.
How it works
The calculator counts whole years, then whole months, then remaining days between the two dates — the same way you'd count on a calendar — rather than just dividing total days by 365, which would be inaccurate around leap years and months of different lengths. The extras (zodiac sign, generation, leap days lived, birth weekday) are all derived directly from your birth date. Every calculation runs on calendar dates rather than converting through your browser's timezone, so the result is the same no matter where you're browsing from.
