How to use it
- 1Pick a mode: count business days between two dates, or add/subtract a number of business days from one date.
- 2Use a preset (like "This month") or set your own dates, adjust which days count as the weekend, and list any holidays to exclude.
- 3Read the result, the breakdown bar, and the calendar view showing exactly which days were counted.
Example
A 30-day range typically contains around 21-22 business days, once Saturdays and Sundays are excluded — the calendar view shows exactly which ones. Or flip to “Add business days” mode and ask “10 business days from today” to get a deadline date instead of a count.
How it works
Every day in the range is checked against your weekend selection (Saturday/Sunday by default, but changeable — useful for Friday/Saturday work weeks) and against any date you list in the holidays box, one per line in YYYY-MM-DD format. Recognized holidays show up as chips so you can confirm they were read correctly, and one that happens to fall on a weekend isn't double-subtracted. What counts as a public holiday varies a lot by country, so there's no built-in holiday calendar — you add the ones that matter for you. All the date math runs on calendar dates directly, so the count is the same no matter what timezone you're browsing from.
