How it works
The calculator counts whole years, then whole months, then remaining days between the two dates, the same way you'd count on a calendar. If you enter the dates in either order, it automatically works out which one comes first and tells you they were swapped. The weekday and leap-day figures come straight from calendar dates rather than your browser's timezone, so they're the same for everyone.
